B.Tech Admission after B.voc /D.voc /B.Sc/Engg .Diploma

  Admission in B.Tech/BE course through Lateral Entry to 2nd year.

It is informed that AICTE has prescribed the following eligibility criteria for admission in B.Tech/B.E Program in Engineering & Technology through Lateral  entry to 2nd year:-

Passed Minimum 3-years /2 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with approximately 45%of marks (40% of marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category SC/ST) in any branch of Engineering and Technology.

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45o/o marks (40o/marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category SC/Si) and passed l0+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject

Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector

It is therefore clarified that B.Voc course is treated at par with


Diploma in Engineering and 


BSc degree for the purpose of admission in 


B.Tech/BE program through lateral entry

AICTE Approval नहीं, फिर भी Engineering Degrees? | Legal or Illegal? | DSEU, BITS, LPU, Amity & Others Case Study
